Common Ground Church was founded by Pastors Mike and Kelly during an outreach at the annual Street Painting Festival in Lake Worth Beach. From a small core of believers, was birthed a new church in downtown Lake Worth. The church began meeting in the back of a pizza shop called Rotellis on Lake Ave. As the church grew, the next stop was NorthGrade Elementary. This was a wonderful place to meet but we missed being downtown so we were able to meet in various locations on South J Street, including the Bamboo Room and Common Grounds Brew and Roastery. Today, Common Ground Church has a home at 1201 S Federal Hwy. and is continually reaching out to the community.

Mike and Kelly answered the call to pastor Common Ground Church in 2011. Their heart and passion is to love God, to love people, and to win the lost of Lake Worth. The Olive's have been married since 1986 and are proud parents of two sons and one daughter who are happily married. Mike has a masters degree in Religious Education and has been in ministry since he was 20 years old. He has a creative way of breaking down God's Word to make it applicable each day.
